Essential Job Functions: Assist Maintenance Supervisor in the scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance activities and assist in updating records of those activities. Provide excellent customer service in fixing all customer requests for maintenance support. This includes timely and responsive resolution to issues. Complete maintenance service requests involving drywall, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled, responds to emergency service requests (after-hour emergency calls) and property disasters (fires, floods, freezes, etc.). Complete all maintenance work orders within assigned timeframe and make most apartments ready within five (5) business days of vacancy. Troubleshoot, repair and replacing HVAC equipment (furnaces and condensers). Troubleshoot and repair appliances (Dishwasher, stove, washer/dryer, microwave, etc.) Qualifications: Technical school, High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Minimum three (3) years' experience in maintenance or equivalent field. Must be EPA certified. Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance. Valid driver's license preferred. Must have reliable transportation. Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Ability to pass a criminal background check is required. Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation.
