Responsibilities
How you’ll make an impact in this role Â
- Develops and executes departmental policies, operational plans, and capacity strategies while managing capital, operating, and construction budgets.Â
- Oversees daily building operations, utility and energy management, grounds maintenance, and furniture/equipment inventories to ensure safe, efficient plant functioning.Â
- Acts as the primary liaison for remodeling and construction, managing the entire vendor lifecycle from bids and contract compliance to project execution and system shutdowns.Â
- Establishes a safe work environment through audits and training, ensuring strict documentation and compliance with local, State, Federal, and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.Â
- Leads and mentors staff and contract labor, overseeing scheduling, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and operational excellence.Â
- Serves as an organizational change agent to drive process efficiencies while maintaining strong communications with internal leadership, external partners, and regulatory agencies.Â

What minimum requirements you’ll needÂ
Education: Â
- High School diploma or equivalentÂ
Work Experience: Â
- Six years of experience in facilities management, physical plant operations, or building maintenance for a large facilityÂ
