This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of masonry techniques to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the superintendent for masonry projects, ensuring all work is completed on schedule and within budget. - Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to align project objectives and expectations. - Supervise and lead masonry teams, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications. - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with building codes and regulations. - Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. - Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, maintaining open communication with all parties involved. - Prepare and present project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions. - Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.QualificationsRequired Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Education: - College degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field Required Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a supervisory role within the masonry industry - Proven track record of successfully managing masonry projects from inception to completion - Experience in coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other construction professionals Preferred Experience: - Hands-on experience with masonry techniques and materials - Experience working with large-scale commercial or industrial masonry projects Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Proficient in project management software and tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
