Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspension systems, and drivetrain components
Perform oil changes, tire services, and inspections
Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
Ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
Keep shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies
Communicate repair timelines and needs with Fleet leadership
Qualifications
5+ years of mechanic experience (fleet or automotive preferred)
Experience working on light- and medium-duty trucks
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and crawling
Ability to work in a shop environment year-round
Manual dexterity required for use of tools and equipment
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday
Day shift (overtime may be required based on operational needs)
