Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Complete repairs on engines, brakes, suspension systems, and drivetrain components

• Perform oil changes, tire services, and inspections

• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation

• Ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards

• Keep shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies

• Communicate repair timelines and needs with Fleet leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanic experience (fleet or automotive preferred)

• Experience working on light- and medium-duty trucks

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment

• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)

• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and crawling

• Ability to work in a shop environment year-round

• Manual dexterity required for use of tools and equipment

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• Day shift (overtime may be required based on operational needs)
