Summary: The Operations Administrator provides cross-functional administrative and operational support within the manufacturing facility, serving as a central coordination point across departments. This role supports the President and Operations leadership team while helping ensure clear communication, strong organization, and consistent execution of daily business activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across all levels of the organization.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the President and Operations leadership, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and follow-up on key action items
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across departments such as Operations, People & Culture, and Administration to support daily plant needs
  • Manage internal communications, including company-wide announcements, email updates, and digital signage content
  • Organize and facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, documenting notes, and tracking action items through completion
  • Maintain organized documentation, reports, and communication workflows to support operational efficiency and visibility
  • Assist with planning and execution of company events, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building activities
  • Support cross-functional projects by coordinating timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability
  • Serve as a central point of contact for administrative and coordination needs within the plant
  • Regular and punctual attendance. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience for success:

  • 3–5 years of experience in administrative, operations, or coordination roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in internal communications
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with digital signage or internal communication tools (e.g., OptiSigns) is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively across departments and interact with employees at all levels of the organization

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred. 
  • High School Diploma, or G.E.D., required.
