Join IU Health Home Care as a Physician Liaison—a unique opportunity to combine your nutrition knowledge, relationship-building skills, and entrepreneurial drive. In this field-based role, you’ll connect with physician offices, clinics, hospitals, and community partners; educate healthcare professionals about our services; develop referral relationships; and identify opportunities for growth. This is an ideal role for a motivated dietitian who enjoys variety, independence, travel, and making an impact beyond traditional clinical practice."

This is a full-time Monday-Friday day shift position. This will be a hybrid position that will consist of 4 days traveling in the field and one day in the office for administrative tasks. This Dietitian will market home enteral nutrition services in all Indiana counties south of Indianapolis, maintain existing referral relationships, and cold call on clinics and hospitals to grow our referral base.

Promotes IU Health Enteral Nutrition services to drive statewide referral growth from IU Health and non-IU Health systems. Responsible for referral growth and retention in defined territory leveraging clinical expertise to build trust and relationships. Works to resolve physician/office issues.  Executes market strategy, identifies new business opportunities, and reports market intelligence to system leadership.  

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Registered Dietitian required. Effective January 1, 2021 all dietitians must have an active Indiana license.
• Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior sales experience with track record of success preferred.
• Prior enteral nutrition experience preferred.
• Requires the ability to travel in service area on a regular basis; overnight travel may be required.
