Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance inspections on electrical systems and equipment
Conduct infrared thermography scans of energized electrical components including switchgear, panels, breakers, transformers, and distribution systems
Identify potential electrical failures such as loose connections, overloads, and abnormal heat patterns
Document findings and prepare detailed thermography and preventative maintenance reports
Communicate inspection results and recommended corrective actions to service management and customers
Maintain and operate thermography equipment and testing tools
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards
Coordinate with service technicians and project teams when repairs or follow-up work is required
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, reports, and service records
Support electrical service teams as needed on preventative maintenance projects
Qualifications
Experience performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems preferred
Experience with infrared thermography scanning required
Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and components
Ability to interpret infrared images and identify potential electrical issues
Familiarity with NFPA 70E safety practices preferred
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Certifications
Level I or Level II Infrared Thermography Certification (required)
Electrical or industrial maintenance background
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders and access electrical rooms or mechanical spaces
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Ability to distinguish color variations and thermal imaging patterns

Full-time position
Day shift hours typical
Occasional early morning or evening work may be required depending on inspection schedules
