About Moss Roofing
At Moss Roofing, we believe great customer experiences start with great people. We’re committed to delivering quality roofing work while providing homeowners with clear communication, dependable service, and a smooth experience from start to finish.
We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive Production Coordinator to help keep our roofing projects running smoothly from contract signing through final completion. As our Production Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of the production process—coordinating customers, crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and internal teams to make sure every project is set up for success.
The ideal Production Coordinator is an excellent communicator who can manage multiple moving pieces, anticipate problems before they happen, and stay calm when weather, customer needs, or project timelines require plans to change.

What You’ll Do
As a Production Coordinator, you’ll help manage the day-to-day communication, scheduling, and coordination that keeps roofing projects moving forward.

Customer Communication & Project Coordination
  • Complete welcome calls with customers after contract signing to review the scope of work, current production queue, and expected timeline.
  • Verify color selections, vulnerable areas, property considerations, and customer concerns before production begins.
  • Confirm installation dates with customers and clearly communicate what they can expect from us and what we need from them for a successful installation.
  • Provide proactive timeline updates to customers every 1–2 weeks throughout the production process.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and help adjust plans when emergency projects or timeline changes arise.
  • Follow up after installation to confirm customer satisfaction.
  • Send Google review requests to satisfied customers following project completion.
Scheduling & Production Coordination
  • Coordinate with installers, subcontractors, and material vendors to establish and confirm project dates.
  • Schedule site supervisors based on skill set and project needs, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right jobs.
  • Communicate job details with subcontractors, confirm availability, and match crews with projects that fit their expertise.
  • Build efficient production schedules that minimize redundant trips, wasted time, and unnecessary costs.
  • Monitor weather conditions and reschedule projects as needed due to weather delays.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure materials are ordered and available on time.
  • Adjust schedules when emergency jobs or unexpected project changes arise.
Project Completion & Internal Communication
  • Work with the Production Manager to coordinate emergency tarps, warranty claims, and leak calls from previous customers.
  • Communicate with sales representatives regarding paperwork, missing information, project details, and installation attendance needs.
  • Coordinate punch-out items following installations and schedule any remaining trades or work needed to complete the project.
  • Keep customers, crews, subcontractors, sales representatives, and leadership informed when schedules or project requirements change.
What We’re Looking For in a Production Coordinator
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities at once.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and confidence speaking with customers over the phone.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across customers, sales teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm when weather, schedules, or customer needs change unexpectedly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and a willingness to take ownership.
  • Comfortable prioritizing projects based on urgency, available resources, and operational needs.
  • Experience in roofing, construction, production coordination, project coordination, or a related trade is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable and available to work in person Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional before- or after-hours availability when projects require it.
What Success Looks Like
A successful Production Coordinator keeps customers informed, crews prepared, and schedules organized. You’ll help ensure projects move efficiently from signed contract through installation and final completion while providing a great experience for our customers.
If you’re looking for an opportunity where organization, communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail make a real impact every day, we’d love to hear from you!
