Your Role

 

  • You will ensure personnel are working safely, efficiently and are producing good quality product at all times through frequent observation throughout each shift.
  • You will adjust assignments as needed when presented with unplanned absences through knowledge of schedule and utilization of employees.
  • You will work with Plant Lead Operators to provide effective cross training of employees to maximize shift versatility to meet production needs.
  • You will initiate and investigate employee concerns as needed.
  • You will ensure all materials are available for each job prior to set up (trays, cartons, shrink film, chip board, and material from cutting).
  • You will assist in maximizing production on OT through self-availability and adequate coverage.
  • You will review vacation requests and other attendance events in a timely manner to ensure that employee’s time is accurate, and that payroll is met each week without error.
  • You will continuously drive productivity and quality improvements that create a world class manufacturing operation.

Your Profile

 

  • You will hve a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education with an Associate degree preferred. 

  • You will have at least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role managing at least 15-20 associates. 

  •  You will haveexcellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.  Spanish as a second language is a plus.

  • You will have basic computer skills.
