Position Overview: The Property Care Crew Member directly supports the daily activities of Property Care team on OEG client estates, including high end residential and commercial properties. This role will maintain properties to OEG standards by pruning, watering, fertilizing, trimming, edging, mowing, planting and various other horticulture related tasks to enhance client properties. This position ensures the highest standards of horticultural care and garden aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on installation of plant material, containers, soil amendments, and décor.
- Adherence to schedule while maintaining a positive team environment.
- Perform routine maintenance duties, such as mulching, watering, planting deadheading, pruning, trimming, mowing, leaf removal and fertilizing to OEG standards.
- Communicate plant health issues to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Load and transport tools, materials, and plant material to job sites as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to OEG standards.
- Snow and ice removal in the winter season.
- Other duties as assigned throughout the year.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or seasonal color work preferred.
- Knowledge of annuals, perennials, and general plant care preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret design plans and layouts.
- Physically capable of lifting 60 lbs, working on your feet, and enduring variable outdoor weather.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
