Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Purchaser will play a critical role in keeping things moving in a dynamic time critical environment. This is a hands-on role that requires a quick learner, who is a creative problem solver, skilled negotiator, expert communicator and whose attention to detail is second to none. The ideal candidate is conscientious, proactive, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments such as international motorsport.

Key Responsibilities:
路 Responsible for sourcing and purchasing parts, materials and services required by the team, ensuring these meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
路 Work with the team to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for racing parts, materials, and services.
路 Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance, and resolving any issues/discrepancies promptly.
路 Assist in negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the business.
路 Prepare and raise purchase orders, track the order progress, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
路 Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
路 Support budget planning, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
路 Contribute to the continuous improvement of the purchasing processes, identifying best practices, and implementing innovative solutions that align with the team and financial goals and parameters.

Qualifications & Requirements:
路 Motorsport experience required
路 Strong understanding of the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
路 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
路 Highly organized with strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure environments.
路 Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
路 Proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset.
