The Senior Staff Accountants primary duties are to assist in the general accounting duties to ensure the business financial processes are completed accurately and timely. This includes revenue posting, managed property billing, behavioral health tracking, behavioral health reserve calculation, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, grant tracking and property tax returns. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications
  • The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business .
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible nonprofit financial management experience preferred.
  • Financial grant management experience is highly desired.
  • Expertise with accounting systems, payroll, and accounts payable/receivables is essential. At least three years of experience in Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics GP is highly desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and excellent written and verbal communication skills is necessary.
  • A CPA, CGMS, GPC or MBA is preferred.
