Job Duties
路 Perform installation, service, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair activities on video surveillance systems, access control systems, intrusion alarm systems, and network infrastructure with an emphasis on access control.
路 Read blueprints, programming documentation, and wiring diagrams.
路 Terminate and understand cat5e, cat6, cat6a cabling, and fiber optics cabling.
路 Troubleshoot low-voltage wiring issues and correct them accordingly while in the field.
路 Basic programming on telecommunication equipment and alarm system equipment including intrusion alarm equipment, CCTV equipment, Access control equipment, and life safety equipment
路 Perform technical tasks with little training and direction.
路 Complete cable installation, device terminations including Strikes, Card readers, Mag Locks, Motion Detectors, etc.聽
路 Must have ability to assess and develop strategy to run and terminate cabling (Coaxial, Category, Access, Etc.) in busy environments.
路 Set up, mount, and install DVRs, NVRs, PoE Switches, and low voltage power supplies.
路 Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve low voltage electrical, cable, computer hardware, and software problems.
路 Serve customers in a friendly, professional manner.聽
路 Manage assigned inventory, tools, and equipment.
路 Complete and submit thorough, accurate paperwork on-time.
路 Help train and act as a knowledge resource for Field Service Team members.

Requirements
聽聽
路 Minimum 5 years previous low voltage experience as security installer in video, intrusion, and access control.
路 Demonstrated ability to install access control hardware and program access control panels.
路 Willingness to travel overnight at least 50% of the time.
路 Must have working knowledge of security technology, tools, and installation techniques.
路 Must be able to climb ladders, operate lifts and be comfortable with heights.
路 Willingness to work varying schedules, including days, overnights, and some weekends.
路 Organized, self-driven, and customer-focused.
路 Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively.
路 Ability to lift 70lbs.
路 Must be comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
路 Must have valid driver鈥檚 license, strong driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
路 Strong interpersonal skills.
路 Ability to interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external clients.
路 Professional appearance and communication.
路 Must provide basic hand tools.
路 Military experience a plus.
路 Supervisory experience a plus.
路 Experience operating in retail environments a plus.
路 Previous experience with Bosch Intrusion a plus.
