Summary/objective 

The Treasury Services Assistant assists business members with their banking needs relative to deposit accounts. 

 

Essential functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

  • Assist business members with day-to-day issues and questions relative to their accounts. 
  • Assist the Treasury Management Officers in servicing their account relationships.
  • Serve as a resource for branch personnel in assisting business members. Train branch personnel on business banking processes, products, and services when appropriate.
  • Process domestic and international wire transfers. 
  • Monitor new business deposit accounts for complete and accurate account documentation.
  • Order and provide ongoing support for business credit cards.
  • Assist members in setting up and/or performing maintenance of Cash Management services, authorizations, and limits within IMCU’s digital banking platform. These services include, but are not limited to, ACH Origination, Wire Transfer Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, Business Bill Pay, and Positive Pay.
  • All duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  • Knowledge of typical banking needs of business members and our business focused products and services.
  • Understanding of required documentation for business accounts (and why). 
  • Proficient in Episys, Synergy, and digital banking applications. 
  • Follows wire procedures and policies without exception. Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate well with members and co-workers.
  • Exercises good judgement relative to wanting to please members and managing transaction risks. Follows established policies and procedures to minimize risk.

  • Sitting for extended periods of time


Travel required

Minimal - possibly a training event or department team meeting.

 

Required education and experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

 

 

Preferred education and experience

  • At least 1 year of banking experience.
