Responsibilities of Instructional Assistants

  • Model and teach habits that help students grow in wisdom, compassion, and Christ-like maturity
  • Support teacher in maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment to help students develop a lifelong love of learning
  • Help students thrive as they develop strong relationships with God, others, ideas, and the world
  • Know and love each student and family to promote their continued growth and development
  • Facilitate student engagement with ideas and develop principled, critical thinking
  • Participate in meaningful, ongoing professional learning
