Delivery Driver — Indianapolis, IN (Non-CDL)

Plumbers Supply Co. has been serving the Indianapolis area for over 100 years. Family-owned, operationally reliable, and built on a reputation we intend to keep. We're looking for a delivery driver who takes the job seriously — someone who handles product carefully, represents the company well at every stop, and shows up every day.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE

You're running local routes — box trucks and flatbeds — delivering plumbing supplies to contractors and job sites. You'll interact with customers directly at each stop, so professionalism matters as much as driving skill. No CDL required, but you need real experience behind the wheel of a box truck and the accountability to match.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate company box trucks and flatbed straight trucks on local delivery routes
• Load trucks according to daily schedules and customer delivery requirements
• Use material handling equipment to load accurately and safely
• Verify shipping counts and maintain security and safety standards throughout
• Deliver a professional customer experience at every stop
• Stay current on DOT and OSHA certifications and participate in company safety programs
• Coordinate with warehouse and other teams as needed

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Must be 21 or older
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years driving a box truck or similar vehicle
• DOT medical card (or ability to obtain one)
• Able to lift 50 lbs routinely; up to 75 lbs with or without assistance
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Dependable attendance — this is a daily commitment, not an occasional one
• Customer-facing communication skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
