Sahm’s is looking for flexible, hospitality-minded team members to support our Beach Stand through Labor Day and transition into catering and event opportunities throughout the year. This is a great position for someone who enjoys variety and wants a role that changes from day to day. During the summer, you’ll work in our fast-paced Beach Stand, where members walk up to order, move through the line, and pick up their food and beverages. This is counter service—not a traditional serving position. As beach operations wind down after Labor Day, the role will shift toward catering, private events, and other hospitality opportunities across Sahm’s Hospitality Group. Responsibilities - Take food and beverage orders and process payments using various POS systemsÂ
- Provide friendly, attentive service to Riviera Club members and guestsÂ
- Prepare, organize, and distribute orders in an efficient walk-up service environmentÂ
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and in accordance with Indiana lawÂ
- Assist with catering and private events at a variety of locationsÂ
- Adapt your service style to different events, venues, and guest expectationsÂ
- Help lead, support, and work alongside teenage team membersÂ
- Assist with event setup, service, breakdown, and general cleanupÂ
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment​​
Qualifications - Must be at least 21 years oldÂ
- Must have a valid Indiana alcohol server permitÂ
- Available to continue working beyond Labor DayÂ
- Interested in flexible hours and a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and special eventsÂ
- Comfortable learning and working with different POS systemsÂ
- Able to adapt quickly to different assignments, environments, and service stylesÂ
- Positive, professional demeanor with a genuine commitment to hospitalityÂ
- Comfortable providing direction and setting a good example for younger employeesÂ
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when neededÂ
- Previous restaurant, catering, event, or customer-service experience is preferred
