What You Will Do:  

  • Prepare, plate, serve, and transport food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for a diverse customer base. The customer base includes patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public.  
  • Responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns.  
  • Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.  
  • Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.

What You Will Need:  

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred. 
  • No experience is required. Prior food service experience is preferred.
  • Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
  • Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders.
  • Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
