Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age.  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Experience coaching, teaching, instructing, or leading structured programs preferred.  Knowledge of basic exercise science, fitness leadership, sports instruction, recreation, or the assigned program area preferred.  Ability to demonstrate assigned curriculum, skills, movements, or activities safely and effectively.  Ability to provide clear directions, visually monitor participants, and respond appropriately to safety needs.  Strong communication, relationship-building, and participant service skills.  Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within the required YMCA timeline.
