Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate - INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46222Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Category: General LaborSummary This position ensures that the direction set forth by the Production Supervisor is followed through by the Production Associates   Essential Duties & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Sets up and runs machines. Trains employees on proper machine usage. Assigns employees to machines. Signs people off on machines that they have been trained on. Assists floor supervisors and fills in as needed to back up the supervisors. Assists with the management of 10-60 production employees in the Production Department. Is responsible for assisting with the overall direction, coordination of these units. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; holds Production Associates accountable for efficiencies; reviews daily production numbers with associates. Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 1-2 years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Other Skills Language skills:  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.  Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors. Mathematical skills:  Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Reasoning:  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information. Computer skills:  Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite   Competencies Communication: Effectively communicate to internal and external business partners by sharing expertise to encourage accomplishment of shared business goals.  Teamwork and Collaboration: Actively support and collaborate with peers and team members to contribute to overall company success.
