Overview

The Warehouse Manager must be proactive, innovative, and analytical with a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently and as a team to strive towards operational success. Lead a team by setting productivity goals, placing inventory orders, setting up systems, and communicating within the warehouse.

Working Hours: 2:00pm CST - 10:00pm CST

Essential Functions

Lead and develop al warehouse staff to create a positive and engaged team environment.

Motivate the warehouse staff to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations as reviewed during routine huddles.

Establish and reinforce operational, delivery, and warehouse safety, maintenance, compliance, and cleanliness standards.

Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.

Verify orders for accuracy and quality at every stage of receiving and shipping process.

Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.

Follow shipping and receiving standard operating procedures (SOP) for both paperwork and electronic systems processes.

Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications to warehouses, buildings, and g rounds.

Organize warehouse space and inventory to meet safety, efficiency, and inventory control standards for storage an d transport.

Monitor drop points and remote warehouse locations and coordinate with other branches to ensure high customer service.

Fosters strong communication between employees, management, and other departments.

Able to operate fully as a backup in al warehouse positions.

Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Work Experience

Required Experience: 3 to 5 years 5+ years of warehouse experience in retail, wholesale trade, or a similar environment.

1+ years of supervisor/leadership experience.

Forklift experience and/or certification.

In-depth understanding of the industry and best practices for warehouse operation.
