Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00am - 11:30am

Under the direction of Management, the  Delivery Coordinator supports the efficient, accurate and timely delivery of medications to  facilities.  Ensures customer service standards are met for facilities and patients we service.

Essential Tasks:

Performing first run dispatch duties of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals – including capping/wrapping unit dose containers, closing delivery cases according to Department of Transportation requirements and assisting Pharmacist In Charges as directed.

Performing product quality control as needed and other opening support duties

Dispatching deliveries in an accurate and timely manner and provide clear direction to delivery personnel accordingly.

Delivering time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals to hospitals and clinics. 

Additional tasks may include: 

Working in waste room disposing of waste, cleaning unit dose containers, and performing other waste room related duties.

Packaging, surveying, and preparing packages for delivery

Maintaining data and records.

Performing required calculations.

Performing various housekeeping/ maintenance duties on equipment, facilities, and vehicles as requested by management/supervisor(s).


Education and/or Certifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Driver’s License
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements), preferred (or willing to obtain)

Skills and Qualifications:
• 1+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Knowledge of routing and training drivers
• Proficient in computer applications related to department operations and job function.

• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate

Work Environment:
• Requires travel by ground
• Ability to work flexible hours
