Develop, train, implement, and continuously improve curriculum, best practices and policies for a diverse Material Services team. Develop, monitor, and periodically update Hazmat (DG) training curriculum as required by Republic and as regulated by the Federal Aviation Regulations. Provide departmental support and subject matter expertise to the Material Services team. Develop, implement and publish departmental tools including but not limited to KPI鈥檚, job aids, documented policies and procedures, Materials Alerts, and Comply 365 notifications. Ensure departmental and company manuals are accurate and up-to-date and initiate communication on compliance.聽聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops and maintains training programs and materials for the Material Services department. Scope including, but not limited to, federally required OSHA HAZCOM, company Forklift certification, Suspected Unapproved Parts, instruction on the accurate use of our Inventory Tracking System, and the interpretation and application of departmental and company policies and procedures found in various Republic manual sets.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops and maintains federally mandated HAZMAT (DG) Shippers聽function specific聽training which is required for each Material Specialist via initial and bi-annual recurrent classes.Ensures instruction and training and practical compliance to annual DG regulation changes聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Organizes, schedules and conducts training programs targeted at individuals with a broad range of experience level and background.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains online training records to insure and demonstrate compliance聽to聽internal and regulatory requirements.? Provide records for review by internal and external auditors as necessary.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops, adjusts, and maintains departmental KPI鈥檚 to ensure compliance with departmental objectives.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Evaluates associate performance as needed and performs OJT analysis and offers strategy聽and performance feedback and makes聽recommendation to Materials Management on proposed changes to individuals work practices and processes.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Screens, Interviews and makes recommendations for hiring potential associates.聽聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists with the continuous improvement of the department.? Evaluates current departmental processes.? Assists with the writing of manual updates and revisions.? Develops workflow processes and flow charts.? Gathers data, determines root cause(s) and provides recommendations for changes.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops and leverages multimedia training aids such as,聽iSpring, SharePoint, audio and video recording, SCORMS, MS Teams, SumTotal and other tools to insure an immersive and comprehensive training experience.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinates with Departmental Supervisors and Managers on best practices and coordinates monthly base audits.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Represents the department for meetings and events.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborates with other departments such as Supply Chain, Maintenance Training, and Safety to coordinate and ensure compliance to internal and external policies and regulations聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participates in departmental goal setting and takes a lead role on project teams to respond to issues or needs in support of department goals.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fosters聽and demonstrates聽the Company鈥檚 core values and culture throughout the work environment.聽聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maybe required augment any position within the Material Services department as needed.聽聽

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES聽

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Associate鈥檚 degree (A.A.) in Aviation, Supply Chain, Management, or related fields.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Requires at least 3 year of experience in materials management or related areas.?聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Required proficiency MS Office products, training and database software.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able operate forklifts and other machinery.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to pass and remain current on 49CFR / IATA Hazmat Shipping Course.聽聽
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Development of training curriculum and teaching / training experience.聽
LANGUAGE SKILLS聽
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.? Able to write routine reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.? Able to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.聽

Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions in diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.聽
