Job Overview:

The Production & Logistics Associate provides operational support across Assembly, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse functions based on business needs. This role supports workflow continuity through material movement, production activities, inventory support, and shipping functions to help maintain efficient daily operations throughout the facility.

When logistics support is not required, the employee will perform assembly duties within the Production department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with inbound and outbound shipping activities as needed
  • Support receiving, warehouse, and material movement operations
  • Pull inventory and materials for production needs
  • Assist with packaging and shipment preparation
  • Maintain warehouse organization using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory practices
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy activities
  • Prepare or assist with shipping documentation, labels, and lot tracking records
  • Operate forklift equipment safely following training and company procedures
  • Perform assembly and packaging of medical devices according to work instructions and specifications
  • Review work orders and follow assembly procedures
  • Inspect products for defects and verify product quality requirements
  • Complete required production and shipping documentation accurately
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Participate in required training and safety meetings
  • Support operational needs across departments as directed by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred
  •  Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification upon hire

Skills & Competencies:

  • Attention to detail, time management, organizational skills, ability to collaborate
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
    • Able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time

Describe work conditions:

  • Ability to work in warehouse and light manufacturing environments
  • Temperature-controlled facility with warehouse and production areas
  • Safety hazards minimal with daily use of some chemicals
  • Company-provided smock and hairnet required in controlled production areas
