About the role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the safe, efficient and reliable operations of our commercial office buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional after hours emergencies.

What you'll do

Responsibilities include the following:

Ensure that each assigned each office building is maintained according to company standards
Conduct routine checks and service equipment to prevent failures.
Some heavy lifting of furniture and equipment
Troubleshoot problems and make repairs
Provide excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Perform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Qualifications

This position requires the following skills and qualifications:

Technical school preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in commercial office property maintenance, preferred
A general mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and building trades
Proficient in reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skills
Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance
Have a valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (both required)
