Position Overview

We are seeking an LMFT to provide virtual therapy services to clients across Iowa. This role involves working directly with individuals, couples, and families to address relationship concerns, emotional challenges, communication issues, and major life changes. The therapist will manage scheduled sessions, evaluate client needs, recommend appropriate treatment approaches, and maintain clinical records while providing care from a remote setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with clients through secure video sessions and provide ongoing therapy
  • Explore client concerns and identify areas where therapeutic support is needed
  • Create treatment plans that reflect each client’s goals and circumstances
  • Help individuals, couples, and families improve communication and manage challenges
  • Provide guidance on coping strategies and resources that support client progress
  • Document sessions, assessments, and treatment updates accurately
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in all client interactions
  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Active Iowa LMFT license
  • Experience providing therapy services to individuals, couples, or families
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a remote caseload independently
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems
