Server

 Longboards Williamsburg is looking for friendly, dependable Servers to join our front-of-house team in Williamsburg, Virginia for both part-time and full-time. 

We are seeking team members who enjoy working with people, take pride in providing excellent service and can remain positive and organized in a busy restaurant environment. Previous serving experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in hospitality.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Servers are responsible for creating an enjoyable guest experience from the initial greeting through the completion of the meal. This includes explaining menu items, entering orders accurately, delivering food and beverages, monitoring guest needs and working closely with the kitchen, bar and other front-of-house employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous restaurant or customer-service experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Friendly, dependable and team-oriented

• Ability to learn the menu and answer guest questions

• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

COMPENSATION

This is a tipped position offering an hourly base wage plus tips. Specific compensation details will be provided during the application and interview process.
