The Club at Prescott Lakes is looking for a night Pantry cook, to prepare salads, desserts, bread service and do general prep. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 230pm-830pm. Benefits include medical and dental, as well as use of the club amenities. Golf, pool, and the gym. This is a hands on position that requires multi-tasking. Willing to train. Employment subject to drug screen.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a kitchen porter you will be required to complete the menial tasks in a kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
High school diploma is the minimum requirement.Â
Cleanliness as a person is an added factor as the work is mostly on cleaning and being clean.Â
A certification in food handlingÂ

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash pots, pans and utensils
- Daily clean of kitchen areas
- Deep clean of kitchen equipment
- Keep storage areas neat and tidy
- Keep refrigeration and freezers organized
- Report failing equipment to Supervisor
- Report Health and Safety hazards to Supervisor
- Communicate effectively with staff
- Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
- Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
- Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
- This position demands the Kitchen Porter to be physically strong and healthy as the work can involve carrying heavy and big kitchen wares.
- A Kitchen Porter must be able to handle the pressure to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and is meticulous enough to achieve the cleanliness standard.
- Able to lift 50 lbs, long hours on feet standing, bending or walking
