The Cookie Baker/Bakery Support team member creates exceptional guest experiences by producing high-quality baked goods in a busy retail bakeshop environment. They accurately follow recipes and baking techniques, protect confidential proprietary recipes, and consistently meet quality standards for both raw and finished products while supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming workspace for guests and coworkers.

What You'll Do
- Safely operate ovens, large and small mixers, scales, dough depositor, and other bake shop equipment.
- Sheet and bake cookies efficiently according to seasonal quantity needs and established pars.
- Read and follow recipes exactly to produce Simply…World Famous freshly baked cookies and other bakery items.
- Follow the daily cleaning schedule and adhere to all safe food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Rotate, stock, clean, and organize freezers, refrigerators, and other storage areas for baked goods and ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels of baked goods and samples (floor and freezer), helping keep displays full while minimizing waste, including mail order.
- Open and close the cookie bakery according to checklists, including setting up the cookie counter as directed.
- Assist with cookie counter sales, bakery floor support, and stocking duties as needed.
- Fill all mail order bakery orders and fulfill large bakery orders as communicated by leadership.
- Maintain daily inventory of cookie dough, check and record cooler/freezer temperatures, and wrap, label, and store finished product properly.

What You Bring
- Competence in general baking and mixing techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- General math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in following recipes and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to a changing working environment and shift priorities.
- Demonstrated confidentiality and integrity in handling proprietary recipes and information.
Non-traditional food service hours | closed evenings and Sundays | Weekday daytime and Saturday availability required
