Amos Place is seeking a Grill Cook to prepare menu items safely, efficiently, and consistently according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. This role is responsible for grill station preparation, cooking menu items to order, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Operate grill and kitchen equipment safely
- Maintain proper food handling and temperature control procedures
- Keep grill station clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed
- Communicate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Maintain consistency in product quality and presentation
Qualifications
- Cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn kitchen procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in hot kitchen environments
- Ability to perform repetitive cooking tasks
