DESCRIPTION OF JOB SCOPE

Dispacher clerk worker is an employee in the shipping and receiving department. This role is member to our shipping and receiving team and is responsible to perform manual labor and data entry needed to process with the highest standards of food quality. The employee is required to notify any issues regarding food safety and general safety awareness. Employee is expected to provide good customer service to various vendors and delivery drivers.


DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Adhere to all Classic Salads Food Safety and GMP Policies, including Basic Policies (TRN-0101, TRN-102, TRN-103. TRN-104. TRN-105. TRN-1061.
  2. Complete Classic Salads Standard Data Entry Training Procedures
  3. Use proper lifting and folding boxes techniques ocasionalmente
  4. Report all deficiencies to management.
  5. Work overtime, weekends, and holidays if necessary
  6. Move product and/or materials manually as required
  7. Report all injuries and incidents big or small
  8. Demonstrate attention to detail
  9. Report any foreign objects while performing duties to immediate supervisor.
  10. Communicate with management and/or other employees (Production supervisor, QA, Machine operators, Palletizer, etc)
  11. Be conscious to reduce material spoilage.
  12. Able to work in a cold wet environment 36-36 °F
  13. Work/cross-train in other areas as needed
  14. Fold boxes occasionally 1 lb to 3 lbs
  15. Lift bags occasionally 2 oz to 4 Lbs
  16. Stack boxes occasionally 3 Lbs to 4 Lbs 5-6 boxes high
  17. Keep work area clean
  18. Train coworkers as needed
  19. Lift finished product boxes occasionally 3 lbs to 15 lbs
  20. Stay in assigned work area
  21. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, eye protection (goggles), face shield, gloves, slip-resistant shoes, wet/rain suit, apron, etc.
  22. Be aware of surroundings due to forklift traffic
  23. Use computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Famous)
  24. Keep track and communicate with production employees materials rotation FIFO (First in first out)
  25. Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  26. Verify case counts, generate appropriate tag with adequate product code continuously
  27. Use basic math and organization skills daily
  28. Verify that all product that goes into storage room with appropriate tags (raw and finished product)
  29. Manage tote inventory
  30. Maintain check in log
  31. Scan appropriate paperwork in computer in a timely manner
  32. Prioritize unloading order according to business needs.
  33. Input received products in Famous with accurate weights and accurate information (load id, grower, etc.)
  34. Verify COAS and load tags
  35. Complete assigned reports daily.
  36. Always provide good customer service (Vendors, delivery truck drivers, customers, coworkers, etc)
  37. Always answer phone calls in a professional manner.
  38. Verify case count of fullfilled orders.
  39. Assign orders to loaders.
  40. Verify FIFO order fullfillment



EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience of work in a similar environment preferred. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work with fast-changing priorities and keep up with workflow. Work in a team effort environment. Able to follow simple instructions.

Demonstrate knowledge or experience working with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel). Basic organization skills, Basic math skills.

Bilingual (English, Spanish) a must. Excellent customer service. Good communication skills.
