Purpose of Job:
Perform a variety of tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment to meet operational needs. 

Position Details: 

  • Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
  • Short term contract estimated up to April 2024
  • Standard work hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (preferred); or 7:00am-4:00pm
  • Location: Black Box office located at 9155 Cottonwood Ln N, Maple Grove, MN 55370, relocating to 8360 Courthouse Blvd Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077 in March.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Pick Material
  • Verify inventory counts of material
  • Scan material into an Excel document
  • Pack Material
  • Strap material to skids
  • Shrink wrap material
  • Label skids with material information
  • Need to operate Picker lifts and pallet reach trucks

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficient ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Certification on forklift equipment preferred
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. repetitively 
     

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent 
  • 1-3 years of: 
    • Warehouse experience
    • Inventory knowledge preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel (scanning documents into Excel)
