About the Role:

The Master Service Technician Class A plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of complex mechanical and electrical systems across various service environments. This position requires expert-level diagnostic, repair, and maintenance skills to address a wide range of technical challenges efficiently and effectively. The technician will lead service operations, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate with management to improve service protocols and customer satisfaction. Success in this role directly impacts operational uptime and client trust, making it essential for maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Ultimately, the Master Service Technician Class A is responsible for delivering superior technical solutions that support the company’s reputation and growth within the United States market.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in service technician roles involving heavy-duty equipment or commercial vehicles.
  • Proven expertise in mechanical and electrical system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards applicable to service operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in relevant technical fields such as ASE, HVAC, or electrical systems.
  • Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a service technician capacity.
  • Familiarity with fleet management and maintenance scheduling software.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Lead and mentor junior technicians by providing technical guidance and training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Document all service activities accurately, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, to maintain detailed service records.
  • Collaborate with management and customers to develop service plans, resolve technical issues, and improve overall service delivery.
