WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Iola, KS plant, you will be a Warehouse Associate.

 

As warehouse personnel, our distribution center works closely with our production plant. We specialize in the warehousing and shipping of Gates finished hydraulic hoses and their various parts.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Receive raw materials and deliver them to production
  • Package and ship finished hoses, marked with the Gates logo, to customers worldwide.
  • Handle inbound shipments, process outbound orders, complete paperwork, fill orders, operate forklifts, and maintain inventory.
  • Work collaboratively to support safety, productivity, and the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Consistently demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Inspect materials visually and physically to ensure compliance with established standards
  • Plan, evaluate, set up, and operate necessary equipment while verifying compliance
  • Utilize scanners and internal production systems efficiently.

ABOUT YOU

  • Basic proficiency in reading, math, computer usage, and measurement skills required
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and over 50 lbs
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal English instructions throughout all processes
  • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is essential for this role
  • Must be available to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
  • Willingness to support team members, step in as needed, and share knowledge for cross-training purposes
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

 

Shifts Available

Full-Time

  • 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday Friday
  • 3:00pm to 11:00pm Monday Friday
  • 11:00pm to 7:00am Sunday Thursday
