Role: We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team! This Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Plant Operations Director with maintaining the care of the community facility for residents, employees and the public. This includes painting, general repairs, plumbing and other general building maintenance. The Maintenance Technician must be knowledgeable in all areas of building maintenance and must be able to work independently. Responsibilities: Maintain, repair and service all equipment and furnishings as required Operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds and equipment to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders Monitor and maintain heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, and water systems Safely handle, store, and dispose of maintenance supplies, chemicals, and tools in accordance with regulations Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and maintenance logs Assist with transportation of residents as needed Perform floorcare as needed Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests On-call as assigned QualificationsQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry skills. Ability to operate machinery and equipment in a safe manner. Possess a valid driver's license and excellent driving record with ability to obtain a class D Chauffers’ license.
