Job Summary
TYLin is looking for an Intern Bridge Engineering Designer to join our team for the Summer of 2026. As an intern you will assist engineers and engineering staff within a variety of project support roles. This internship is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on meaningful work.Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You Will DoÂ
Become familiar with engineering plans and detailsÂ
Perform quantity take-offsÂ
Assist with project monitoring and schedulingÂ
Assist with computer modelingÂ
Assist with producing progress reportsÂ
Assist in production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under close supervision of senior engineersÂ
Ability to apply the use of proper codes and standards in the production of engineering deliverablesÂ
Attend site visits or inspectionsÂ

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneouslyÂ
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleaguesÂ

Your Education and ExperienceÂ
Requires current 3rd or 4th year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, in an accredited Civil Engineering program. BS degree preferred.Â
Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software, such as SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, etc., is preferred.Â
AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience is preferredÂ
