Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Principal Project Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform a variety of roadway engineering tasks such as geometric design, engineering analyses, and project plan development.
- Prepare engineering design plans, engineering computations, technical reports, specifications, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
- Assist the project manager in executing and delivering project assignments.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal team and external clients/agencies.
- May plan, lead, and supervise junior engineers on the same assignments.
- Participate in project meetings as well as participate in site visits and field inspections as required.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 15 years or more of experience in roadway-related fields.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) registration is strongly desirable.
- Caltrans projects experience and knowledge of Caltrans standards, policies, and manuals.
- Proficient in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to apply advanced engineering techniques and practices as well as solve complex engineering problems.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
