Customer Service Representatives

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.  
 • At least three years related medical customer service experience or similar is required.
 • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Responds to telephone, fax and e-mail inquiries and orders from referral sources and homecare patients. 

• Documents referral request for coordination of care. 

• Provides information on equipment supplies and services. 

• May assist walk-in patients with the selection of equipment, supplies and services.

• Demonstrates professional etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers. 

• Resolves patient/customer complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action.

• Assesses patient needs and promotes company products and services.

• Complies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures and "best practices".

• Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor/lead

 • This position requires frequent variations including sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching or stooping.
 • Specific vision abilities required to perform this job safely include close vision, distant vision, night (low to limited light) vision and the ability to adjust focus to work on a computer and read documents.

• Strength Aspects: 
 - Frequently required to stand and lift objects from 1” to 36” high with weights ranging from 5 lbs. - 30 lbs., and carry objects for distances ranging from 1 ft. -350 ft. 
 - Frequently required to grip objects with hands, up to 15 lbs. of force.
 - Frequently required to grip objects with fingers, up to 10 lbs. of force. 

- Body Position and Flexibility Elements
 - Occasionally required to kneel on one or both knees and squat to perform many of the above tasks.

  Brightree or other medical tracking system experience is a plus 

  Bilingual a plus

  Prior DME experience a plus

  Pay rate depending on experience in related field.
