Responsibilities

The Position:

 

The Division Vice President will lead the global repair and logistics division with accountability for strategy, financial performance, operational execution, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance across worldwide repair, supply chain, logistics, S&OP, forecasting, materials management, inventory planning, and repair center operations. Oversees end-to-end In-Flight Entertainment Connectivity (IFEC) asset lifecycle support, including planning, procurement, inventory optimization, logistics execution, supply chain development, and global repair center performance. Serves as a key member of the PTS leadership team, translating corporate priorities into multi-year roadmaps, annual operating plans, and measurable initiatives that drive customer satisfaction, revenue growth, operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalable business performance. Leads modernization through digital enablement, advanced analytics, AI/ML, predictive maintenance, automation, robotics, business intelligence platforms, and connected operational systems. Improves customer value, material availability, repair performance, supply chain resilience, and digitally enabled aftermarket support across a global operating footprint.

 

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP, FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE & STRATEGY

  • Establish and execute a global multi-year strategy for supply chain, repair, logistics, and materials management aligned with PTS business objectives and broader corporate priorities 
  • Translate corporate and functional strategies into multi-year roadmaps, annual operating plans, financial plans, and measurable key initiatives.
  • Serve as a key member of the PTS executive leadership team, contributing to growth strategies, operational planning, customer engagement, and investment decisions. 
  • Sponsor and govern strategic initiatives, digital enablement, innovation efforts, and continuous improvement programs that improve customer outcomes, cost efficiency, operational resilience, and business performance.
  • Develop strategic initiatives that position Panasonic as the industry leader in aviation aftermarket support, repair services, reliability management, and material supply solutions. 
  • Develop and execute a digital operations roadmap aligned with PAC’s overall enterprise technology strategy including ERP integration with PTS tools and capabilities.
  • Lead organizational transformation efforts focused on scalability, innovation, profitability, and operational resilience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Industrial IoT and advanced analytics to improve operational performance.
  • Champion the deployment and optimization of ERP, MES, CRM, PLM, quality management systems, and connected data platforms to achieve efficiency and scalability goals.
  • Own financial performance with P&L responsibility for the global materials, logistics, and repair operations portfolio including budget ownership, forecasting, resource allocation, capital planning, and long-range strategic financial planning.
  • Develop annual operating plans, forecasts, capital budgets, and long-range strategic financial plans. 
  • Drive EBITDA improvement through productivity gains, inventory optimization, repair efficiencies, automation, and business transformation initiatives. 
  • Establish operational KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting frameworks that provide visibility into business performance and S&OP management. 
  • Represent the division in executive forums and key stakeholder discussions, presenting business performance, strategic plans, and investment recommendations to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Build and develop a high-performing global leadership team with succession plans and leadership development strategies.
  • This position leads multiple directors, senior managers, and geographically distributed teams across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and emerging markets totaling more than 250+ staff globally.

GLOBAL MATERIALS, LOGISTICS, WAREHOUSING & DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT

  • Lead the worldwide MRO supply chain organization responsible for inventory planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and materials management.
  • Ensure effective resource deployment, prioritization, and operating discipline to meet customer, business, fleet, repair, and contractual commitments. 
  • Develop inventory optimization strategies that maximize service levels while minimizing working capital and inventory risk. 
  • Establish advanced planning models utilizing AI/ML-driven demand forecasting, predictive consumption modeling, repair capacity planning, and supply risk analytics to support data-informed decision-making.
  • Drive adoption of predictive inventory management, predictive maintenance tools, and AI-assisted repair diagnostics.
  • Ensure material availability supports worldwide contractual commitments, fleet operations, repair requirements, and customer service objectives. 
  • Develop supplier management strategies and logistics network efficiency that improve performance, quality, lead-times, profit, and cost competitiveness. Drive process optimization, standardization, and global consistency across logistics, warehousing, distribution, supplier processes, material flow, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Drive global trade compliance, customs compliance, export controls, and regulatory requirements across the MRO supply chain network. 
  • Lead initiatives for obsolescence management, strategic sourcing, long-term supply assurance, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead worldwide logistics and distribution operations supporting airline customers, field service teams, and repair facilities. 
  • Develop integrated logistics strategies that optimize transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and material flow. 
  • Implement digital visibility solutions that provide real-time tracking of inventory, repairs, shipments, and operational performance. 
  • Establish contingency plans and supply continuity strategies for geopolitical disruptions, supplier constraints, and transportation risks. 

GLOBAL REPAIR OPERATIONS & MRO EXCELLENCE

  • Direct all global repair facilities and repair service operations to achieve world-class quality, turnaround time, cost, and customer satisfaction performance.
  • Develop and implement standardized repair methodologies, capacity planning models, and progress global operating procedures.
  • Implement advanced repair analytics to identify reliability trends, root causes, cost drivers, and repair opportunities.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Operational Excellence initiatives across all repair centers.
  • Drive adoption of predictive maintenance and condition-based maintenance methodologies through updated repair hardware, software, data analytics and AI-enabled technologies.
  • Ensure repair facilities maintain compliance with all FAA, EASA, CAA, CAAC, JCAB, and other applicable aviation authority requirements.
  • Establish global repair center performance standards, benchmarking, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Maximize repair performance while managing inventory levels to achieve an efficient balance of material flow, on-site storage, and parts availability.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE, QUALITY & SAFETY

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable MRO aviation regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Champion compliance with FAA, EASA, CASA, UKCAA, GCAA, AS9110, AS9100, ISO, environmental, trade, and occupational safety requirements.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, diversity, collaboration, and employee development.
  • Maintain strong oversight of risk management, audit readiness, corrective action governance, regulatory inspections, customer audits, SMS reporting, and certification activities.
  • Maintain a strong culture of safety, operational integrity, and regulatory excellence.

The salary range of $228,000 - $382,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. The final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.


Qualifications

What we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field.
  • A combined 12+ years of progressive leadership experience within aviation, aerospace, MRO, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or technology industries.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership responsibility managing large multi-site organizations.
  • Experience leading global repair operations, supply chain organizations, or complex operational networks.
  • Experience managing large operating budgets, capital investment, and P&L responsibilities.
  • Domestic & international travel is required, likely up to 25%.
  • Ability to travel globally to support customers, suppliers, repair centers, and operational facilities.
  • Primarily working in the office, ability to support office & working from global sites.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree (MBA, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related discipline).
  • Advanced certifications such as: APICS/ASCM, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, Aviation Maintenance Management Certifications.
  • Experience with digital aviation ecosystems, predictive maintenance platforms, and connected aircraft technologies.

  • Proven executive leadership within a global aviation, aerospace, MRO, supply chain, manufacturing, or technology organization. Demonstrated ability to execute division-level strategies aligned with enterprise priorities, translating business objectives, market insights, customer needs, and operational requirements into actionable plans that drive measurable business outcomes and operational performance.
  • Strong strategic planning and business transformation capabilities.
  • Experience managing complex multinational operations.
  • Executive presence and stakeholder management.
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate priorities across diverse global teams, navigate complex business issues, resolve competing priorities, and drive decisions across functions, regions, and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budget ownership, forecasting, resource allocation, and P&L performance management while balancing growth, cost discipline, and operational efficiency.

Deep expertise of Supply Chain & Repair Operations:

  • Aviation supply chain management including budgeting, forecasting, planning, pricing and estimating.
  • MRO operations including understanding of regulatory constraints, documentation control, and management of Hardware in a Part 145 environment.
  • Repair center management and measurements of quality, success, profitability, manpower planning, staff management, and employment requirements for global operations.
  • Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) including alignment across cross-functional organizations from Part 21 manufacturing to distribution models for contract fulfillment.
  • Material planning and forecasting including S&OP, integration with factory forecasting, ERP-system alignment and efficiency of organizational activities.
  • Inventory optimization to ensure the highest possible material availability while maximizing profitability, efficiency, and reducing waste.
  • Global logistics and distribution for support of Line Maintenance, Repair, Material programs, and transactional sales.
  • Supplier management and sourcing to ensure success of contracted services.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and align internal teams to deliver value through improved material availability, repair performance, service levels, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Strong governance, risk, quality, safety, and compliance mindset, ensuring practices align with corporate governance expectations, customer commitments, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Digital & Technology:

  • Experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of AI, Machine Learning, predictive analytics, Business Intelligence, automation, and operational technology platforms.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, RAMCO, or equivalent MRO and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics to improve operational performance and decision making.

This means that there is no fixed number, range, or limit to the amount of Personal and Vacation Days that may be taken for exempt employees. Non-exempt hourly employees accrue 14 vacation days per year + 7 sick days + 3 personal days. Accrual rate increases with tenure. All employees receive 11 company paid holidays per year.
