Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: 1682 KETTERING STREET - IRVINE, CA 92614Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/yearJob Description: EHS Specialist                                                   As an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Specialist at Brothers Desserts you are the champion that focuses our efforts to achieve the safety mission. The right candidate for this role will be a problem solver who influences people and process to ensure we meet our goals and reduce risk to our employees and the environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and local regulations Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Support EHS programs (LOTO, PPE, hazard communication, waste management, etc.) Investigate incidents, root causes, and implement corrective actions Support regulatory inspections and third‑party audits Promote continuous improvement and a strong safety culture by leading Safety committee, SLTs (Safety Learning team) Required Skills Advanced understanding of EHS, manufacturing, and regulatory practices Hazard analysis and risk‑assessment skills Excellent communication, coaching and training abilities Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis Data tracking, report writing, and documentation accuracy Knowledge of food manufacturing regulations (FDA, FSMA, GMPs) Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, QA, HR and maintenance teams QualificationsQualifications 2–3 years of EHS experience, preferably in food manufacturing or similar regulated environment Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA/FSMA, and GMP standards Strong communication, training, and problem‑solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience) Bilingual Preferred: English/Spanish Applicable Certifications would include: OSHA 30 (General Industry or Construction) Process Safety Management (PSM) HACCP Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) First Aid/CPR
