Beyond International Group is seeking a highly skilled Remote Financial Controller to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, reporting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support strategic financial planning and decision-making. This role requires strong analytical ability, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices. Key Responsibilities: As a Remote Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Develop and maintain financial reporting systems, processes, and internal controls. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial performance. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic decision-making. Review financial transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries for accuracy and compliance. Implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across systems. Provide financial insights to support business growth and operational planning. Requirements: Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred. 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial management roles, with leadership responsibilities preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and financial reporting standards. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote-first or distributed organization. Background in marketing, media, consulting, or service-based industries. Experience with financial automation tools and reporting dashboards. Knowledge of compliance, audit preparation, and risk management frameworks. Experience leading or mentoring finance or accounting teams.
