Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $21.07 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate in a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
