(Remote / Hybrid – Commercial Tenant Improvements)
We are seeking an experienced Interior Architect / Interior Designer with a strong commercial tenant improvement (TI) background to support ongoing commercial projects. This position is ideal for a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional who can independently produce construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and assist with project execution from field verification through permitting and construction.
This is primarily a remote position with occasional daytime site meetings and in-office coordination as needed.

Responsibilities
•   Produce complete Construction Document (CD) packages for commercial tenant improvement projectsÂ
•   Develop floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, details, and finish plansÂ
•   Perform field measurements and existing conditions verificationÂ
•   Coordinate drawings with MEP, structural, and other consultantsÂ
•   Assist with permitting and plan check correctionsÂ
•   Coordinate with contractors and respond to RFIs as neededÂ
•   Attend project meetings, site visits, and coordination meetings during standard business hoursÂ
•   Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and ADA requirementsÂ
•   Manage multiple projects and deadlines independentlyÂ
Required Qualifications
•   Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial architecture or interior designÂ
•   Expert proficiency in AutoCAD 2022 or newerÂ
•   Strong experience producing complete commercial TI construction document setsÂ
•   Extensive field measuring and site verification experienceÂ
•   Commercial project experience in office, retail, hospitality, medical, or similar environmentsÂ
•   Strong understanding of construction detailing and commercial building systemsÂ
•   Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionÂ
•   Excellent communication and organizational skillsÂ
Preferred Qualifications
•   Working knowledge of RevitÂ
•   Experience coordinating with consultants and permitting agenciesÂ
•   Knowledge of California building codes and ADA complianceÂ
•   Experience with Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative SuiteÂ
•   NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure is a plusÂ
Work Requirements
•   Must be available for site meetings and coordination during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)Â
•   Candidate should be located within reasonable driving distance for occasional project site visits and meetingsÂ
Compensation
•   Competitive hourly compensation based on experienceÂ
•   Typical range: $45–$75 per hourÂ
