If so, we’re looking for you – a Senior Interior Designer to help lead impactful work across our Healthcare practice, with opportunities to support Education and Civic projects as needed.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will…

  • Provide project ownership for large, complex, or multiple interior design projects, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with the firm’s mission and goals.
  • Serve as a client-facing leader, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Lead and mentor multiple staff members and project teams across local and regional offices.
  • Oversee BIM/Revit design development and the production and coordination of construction documents, including consultant coordination.
  • Manage client goals, budgets, and schedules while ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to firm standards.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of applicable building codes, agency, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Lead and support the construction administration process, bringing experience and added value to both clients and project teams.
  • Oversee furniture selection and specifications, ensuring compliance with client standards and code requirements, while mentoring others.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, proposal development, and business development through established relationships and professional reputation.
  • Identify and address risks related to scope, budget, schedule, and construction costs, protecting the firm’s interests.
  • Support staffing processes and participate in market and studio leadership meetings.

The Must-Haves (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of interior or architectural design project experience, or an Associate’s degree with at least 12 years of related experience.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and work directly with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).

The Like-to-Haves (Not Required)
  • Experience with Healthcare projects (primary focus).
  • Experience supporting Education and Civic projects.
  • Proficiency in BIM/Revit.
  • Experience with Bluebeam.
  • LEED accreditation.
