Overall Responsibilities 

  • Organize, pack, and load products for shipment in timely manner
  • Accurately move and organize products back onto shelves or designated storage areas
  • Review all orders to determine if they were picked and packed correctly
  • Ensure that the warehouse and all work areas are maintained and cleaned on a regular basis
  • Stack or move pallets to designated area
  • Drive material handling equipment, such as a forklift and/or pallet jack, as necessary
  • Follow all safety procedures given and established
  • Effectively communicate and interact with fellow team membership in a professional and friendly manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Practices
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
