Description
In this technical role, you will be part of a silicon design group responsible for system integration, design of radio calibration algorithms, chip bringup, and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products from conception to production. We are looking for an exceptional engineer with experience in designing novel calibration algorithms for wireless systems.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience. Hands-on experience with chip bringup, tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chain for optimal performance, and familiarity with calibration algorithms. Basic understanding of communication theory, DSP, OFDM systems, radio architectures, radio impairments and its impact on performance. Experience with Python, Matlab and/or C/C++ implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
Good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms (such as timing recovery, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control, RF impairment estimation and correction, coexistence, etc.). Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like IEEE 802.11 standards or LTE. Experience designing algorithms for calibration, pre-equalization or digital pre-distortion techniques. Hands-on experience using wireless test lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter). Excellent analytical and debug skills. Experience building test automation and verification flow development with scripting languages such as Python.
