Job Responsibilities :

RAZER is seeking one (1) first, second, or third year law student for a full-time, 3-month, in-office legal internship working with the Razer USA legal team on a broad range of legal research, writing, contractual, and drafting assignments for RAZER™, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers.

Educational Objectives

  • To gain understanding of legal issues in consumer electronics and gaming, including, for example, copyright, trademark, labor, employment, governance, tax, contracts, and e-sports legal issues.

  • To sharpen legal research, writing/drafting, and communication skills.

  • To gain practical experience in transactional and litigation matters.

  • This internship is designed to help a law student further develop the legal skills needed for practice in the private or public commercial tech sector.

  • Under the close supervision of the Razer U.S. Legal Team, the intern will be responsible for:

  • Drafting legal memoranda, contracts, conducting legal research, attending internal client meetings and other applicable hearings/court matters.

Requirements

  • First, second or third year student at accredited U.S. law school

  • Resume and Law School transcript

  • Outstanding legal research and writing skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Focus on legal aptitude (writing & drafting proficiencies)

  • Issue spotting & problem solving abilities

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Willing to work at office

  • Interest in gaming industry

  • Organizational ability and teamwork.
