Job Title: Night Auditor
Pay Range: $21.00
The Night Auditor creates a positive experience for all guests by delivering professional and pleasant service. They are responsible for ensuring that the check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient and are also responsible for performing other front office responsibilities. Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality of policies and procedures. Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.Â
What You Will AccomplishÂ
Greet all guests with a warm welcome, follow AC Marriott brand standards, provide positive impactful customer focus interactions that create positive rapport with the guests and internal colleaguesÂ
Check guests in and out of rooms, as well as assigning rooms to guestsÂ
Answers telephones and takes messages when needed, communicate with fom and team through detailed pass-onÂ
May make, confirm or cancel guest reservationsÂ
Assists guests when taxi services are requestedÂ
Computes bills and collects payment for guestsÂ
Replenish office supplies front office and back office, restocking ac store merchandise Â
Assist night audit team members with posting and balancing of shift work Â
Perform night audit functions as scheduled for a smooth transition of systems Â
Attend all meetings as requested or assignedÂ
Special projects as assigned by management Â

What You Will BringÂ
Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidaysÂ
Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the hotelÂ
Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shiftÂ
Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all AC Hotel Irvine standardsÂ
Intermediate level computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel requiredÂ
Ability to work under minimal supervisionÂ
Read, write and speak English fluentlyÂ
Must be able to count cash and make change in USDÂ
Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates Â

Guest service/front office experienceÂ
Hotel experience preferred Â
High school diploma/Â GEDÂ
Physical requirements: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, and push/pull, the employee is constantly required to hear and talk. The employee must occasionally walk, climb stairs, stand, crouch/bend/stoop, reach, smell, and grasp and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities constantly required are near vision and occasionally required include close and far vision. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.Â
