Feldsott Lee & Nichter is seeking a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Full-Time Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience while providing essential administrative support to our attorneys and legal staff.
The ideal candidate is organized, personable, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced law office environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Greet clients and visitors and maintain a welcoming reception area
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff
- Assist with filing, scanning, copying, mailing, and other office tasks
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Schedule meetings and assist with maintaining calendars
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Assist with preparation and organization of legal documents
- Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior receptionist, administrative assistant, or law office experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and basic computer functions
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent client service
