Clay Cooley Nissan of Irving is currently looking to add an experienced, skilled, and Nissan-Certified Service Technician who can perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas, in addition to specialized areas of repair.

Job Duties:

• Performs work as outlined on the Technician's Repair Order in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The Service Technician executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Tests components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repair; The Service Technician connects with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicates with Service Advisor if additional work is needed, if work outlined is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Ensures customers' vehicles are kept clean. The Service Technician will notify Service Advisor of any changes to the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
• Understands, acknowledges, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Technician knowledge/experience required. Pay is based on experience.
• Nissan Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations required.
